OUR MISSION IS TESTING PRODUCTS UNDER THEIR OPERATING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS.
ELIOSYS is a private and independent company founded in 2009 by Julien Thiry supported by MeusInvest for a specific purpose: to provide the industry sector a laboratory able to perform tests on any type of products under its operating environmental conditions (winter climates, desert, wet, etc.).
This requires being able to artificially recreate real terrestrial climatic conditions ranging from the Siberian tundra to the most arid deserts, as well as humid and temperate climates.
ELIOSYS’ mission is to support companies in their R&D, quality or energy saving initiatives.
To implement solar and environmental climate simulators that did not yet exist, it was necessary to call on the creativity of the team of engineers to design, create and develop the equipments that today make up the various test benches, climatic chambers and other ELIOSYS solar simulators.
The laboratory has been recognised as an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory (BELAC 432-test) since 2010.
Thanks to this attestation of conformity, ELIOSYS can guarantee an outstanding quality of its services while offering great flexibility and high reactivity.
Among the climatic conditions that ELIOSYS offers, there are:
- solar irradiation;
- temperature variations (from -80°C to +200°C);
- variable humidity;
- impacts of hail and lightning;
- wind pressure;
- snow load;
- mechanical shocks, etc.
Since 2018, ELIOSYS has also been a consultancy office for energy projects.
