Eliosys is pleased to announce that we have upgraded our drone fleet with the acquisition of a drone equipped with the latest safety technologies and compliant with European standards. Specifically, it’s a Category 5 drone, fitted with a parachute and a circuit breaker.
It is designed for STS-01 scenarios, which allow “VLOS flights over a ground-controlled area in a populated environment.”
In simpler terms, these are direct line-of-sight flights in a populated area but conducted over a zone without people inside. The combination of this equipment with the ‘Specifics’ training of our pilots enables flights for missions throughout Europe.
